We offer a variety of menu options to appeal to many different palates and budgets, and they are all delicious! Our Classic meals are our more traditional, home-style options. Our Deluxe meals feature more enhanced entree options. Our Premier meals are considered to be fine dining – think lobster and steak! All three meal packages are full-course and come with dinner rolls, salad, entree, side and dessert.
Yes, you may change items to build the perfect meal. From gluten-free to vegetarian, or swapping out different sides or desserts – we have options! Please note that there may be an additional charge for substituting a Deluxe or Premium item for a Classic item.

We deliver nationwide! Delivery options are dependent on the destination ZIP code.
For orders in the Atlanta area, we offer a courier service.
For orders outside of the Atlanta area, we offer shipping via UPS Next Day (either Air or Ground).
Our top priority is quality and freshness, especially since our food is made-to-order and never frozen. The unfortunate part of fast delivery can be shipping costs. We work hard together with UPS to keep costs as low as possible but acknowledge that shipping costs can be significant depending on where the meal is being delivered to. Ultimately, we pride ourselves on high-quality ingredients and generous portions.
Of course! If you live locally, you may pick up your meal at no charge. Simply select “Local Pick Up” at checkout.
Our address is 1331 Marietta Blvd NW Atlanta, GA 30318. Meals are ready for pick up Monday – Friday from 1 pm – 6 pm.
Because our meals are made fresh to order, Instead of Flowers is not responsible for any meals not picked up on the requested date.
For a weekend meal, we recommend choosing Friday delivery and reheating when you are ready to enjoy. We recommend enjoying your meal within 1-2 days of delivery.
For orders in the Atlanta area, deliveries are made Monday-Friday between the hours of 3 pm & 6 pm through a courier service.
For orders outside of the Atlanta area, deliveries are made Tuesday-Friday via UPS. You should receive a tracking number directly from UPS. Delivery time will vary based on UPS. Unfortunately, we are unable to know the exact time of delivery, but tracking is always provided by UPS.
If you experience any issues with delivery (package did not arrive, it was damaged, etc.) please Contact Us.
No. All meals are made fresh, refrigerated, and then delivered to your door in insulated packaging. We do recommend storing your meal in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat.
If you are not home, your meal will be left for you at the address provided to Instead of Flowers.
We love the holidays! While we are not open on the actual holidays below, we are open leading up to these occasions and would love to be a resource for gift-giving and holiday hosting!

For orders in the Atlanta area, orders must be placed by 3 pm the day prior to your desired delivery date.
For orders outside of the Atlanta area, orders must be placed by 3 pm two days prior to your desired delivery date.
We offer traditional Gift Certificates which can be purchased in any dollar amount. The Recipient can pick and choose what they want from anywhere on our menu. If giving a Gift Certificate, we encourage you to consider the overall cost of what you would want your recipient to get, including the cost of the meal, tax, and shipping.
Think of Recipient’s Choice as another form of a traditional gift certificate. The difference is that by purchasing a Recipient’s Choice, you are selecting a specific area of the menu for the recipient to choose from (Classic, Deluxe, Premier), and paying for that along with tax and shipping all in one.
If a Recipient’s Choice meal is purchased, the recipient will be notified via text message or automated call. If an email address was provided, they will immediately receive an email notification upon purchase.
If a Gift Certificate is purchased, we will email the certificate to the recipient. Mailed Gift Certificates are available upon request. Please Contact Us for a mailed certificate.
If you have selected the specific meal & the delivery date, we will notify the recipient via text message or automated call the day before the intended delivery date.

There is a link above the Billing Details section – Have a Coupon or a Gift Certificate? Click here to enter your code. Click this link and enter your Gift Certificate number. You may then click the certificate(s) when it appears in this area to apply to your total.
Please note that the Gift Certificate can be applied to the total cost of the purchase, including your meal, tax, and shipping. Any remaining funds will remain on your gift card for future use.
Yes. If you want to change what you were gifted, we would simply need a credit card at the time of order for any additional charges. Please contact us at Contact Us or assistance prior to placing an order.
If you sent someone a gift, you will be notified via email when they have redeem that gift (please note, this is different than the actual delivery date).
If you were given a gift and are not sure if you redeemed it, please contact us at Contact Us and we will be happy to check the status of your gift.
Gift Certificates and Recipient’s Choice codes expire one year from their date of issuance. We understand that things can and do happen. If you have an expired gift, please contact us for assistance.
Nutritional & Heating
Our meals are prepared fresh each day and never frozen. Simply follow the quick heating instructions on your meal and enjoy! Typically, meals are ready to eat within about 20 minutes. Note that times may vary depending on your cooking equipment.
We have several options always available on our menu including gluten-free and vegan. We try our best to accommodate dietary requests; however, we are not able to always do so. Nutrition information is available on our website.
